Now introducing Maypop, the South Market District’s newest restaurant addition! Maypop joins Willa Jean, Part + Parcel, Blaze Pizza, Company Burger, Magasin Kitchen, and the upcoming Daily Beet as the seventh restaurant to join the District.
The Maypop restaurant is the brainchild of Michael Gulotta, the chef behind beloved New Orleans restaurants MoPho and Tana. Via NOLA.com, Maypop will “carry on the Southeast Asian flavors meets Southeast Louisiana vibe of MoPho, with a bit of the Italian influences found at Tana.”
